Luv & Kush
Luv and Kush are born to Sita when she is in exile
and they do not know the name of their father Ram. Even though the story is titled Luv and Kush, Kush is the elder of them. He and his brother were named by Valmiki.

They were very energetic growing up and got into trouble with their mother because of their exploits. They are extremely intelligent kids and quick to learn the Vedas and master the art of archery and sword fighting. They are also extremely skilled singers and sing the "Ramayan Song" in the ashram and the villages. Being young they are not afraid to take on new challenges and thus they take on the might of Ram by capturing the
horse.
